43 years....
Sometimes I wondered if I would ever make it this far. Celebrated a week ago Monday by eating dinner with the family at TGIFridays. While I didn't wear the button (which was provided for the "birthday boy" by my wonderful staff) I was embarrassed by the Fridays signature birthday sung. And we ate all of the special sundae.
Had some bad news interspersed with the celebrations that put something of a damper of the festivities. I will write more about that later. Found out that The Who are coming to Salt Lake, so I will go see them and celebrate my birthday again in November.

when are the Who coming in November? I'd love to see them even if it's only two of the four originals playing. Do you know how much the tickets are?
Monday November 13th. The show is pricey but I was able to get 10th row on the floor. Pretenders are opening. If you have never seen Chrissie Hynde live, she (and the rest of the band) is a treat. Wanna carpool? My wife's gonna be out of town and I need to arrange for someone to get them to be for me...I think my mom will do it.
We saw Chrissie in Park City. What a great show. She was there with the B-52s. I've never seen Pete live. Can't wait!
