September...
I thought maybe I should post something, as requested (Thanks Brannigan) so that I get at least 1 post in this month.
I have been so behind with projects both at home and with work, etc. When did life get so complicated. I could take this opportunity to rant about any matter of subjects but that was not my intent with this blog. I have wanted to write about positive things. Like music that gets me excited. And there has been some: OKGO, the new Dylan, this lady Vienna Teng, that my friend Jennifer turned me on to (Thanks Jen), there's a new Ray LaMontagne, and a few other things (remind me to tell you about my Jerry Douglas dream).
My daughter is turning 13 tomorrow. Not sure what to think about her becoming a teen...probably more about that later--and I should really write about the kind of music that makes her excited (remind me to write about her sweet, angelic voice singing A.F.I. and Hawthorne Heights lyrics). And how awesome it is to have her point out riffs and fun guitar parts on the CDs she is listening to. I would write about her birthday present but it is a surprise, so that will have to wait as well.
I could write about how our weather has turned and makes me want to cocoon with a good book...there are so many good books I want to plunge into.
I should write about the sins of ending sentences with prepositions.
I could write about the latest things going on in our home projects. I should. I will, I promise. Remind me to write about the cool CD storage system I found and ordered from Canadia. Remind me to write about why we call Canada, "Canadia."
Remind to to write about sunflowers.
See, there is so much. All of these things have been heavy on my mind. I could write about computer problems and issues I have faced while sitting up suffering from annoying insomnia. Remind me to write about how embarrassing it was for a supposedly trained librarian to forget the word "insomnia." Here I was writing to a friend, "Now what is that word with an S in it that means 'not being able to sleep?'"
So here it is. A blog entry of nothing. Or everything. Brannigan, please comment and let me know which of these has the most promise. I'll get right on it.
Special thanks to Acclaim Images for the pictures.

hi dad its your son bye
Hi Dylan! Thanks for the comment! Have a nice day.
Bohemian Polka is the twelveth (12th) song on the "Alapalooza" album. It is a parody of "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen with new music by "Weird Al" Yankovic. Now you know, you little bug.
Wow that really was a blog about everything and nothing. sorry it took me a few days to post about it. I'd have to say the music and the cd storage system from canadia sounds like fun, i don't want to ruin your daughters surprise so you should write that one after the party.don't worry about not knowing the word for sleep depredation i think it fits your state of not sleeping.
