Spooky!!! More Fun With Scanners

Here are the original X-rays of my wrist break. The top ones show the wrist when it was still dislocated.






















This shows after the bone was put back in place. It felt so much better once it was in place! They gave me 3 shots of morphine and it did nothing to dull the pain. Having it back in place felt so great. Better than any drug.

43 years....

Sometimes I wondered if I would ever make it this far. Celebrated a week ago Monday by eating dinner with the family at TGIFridays. While I didn't wear the button (which was provided for the "birthday boy" by my wonderful staff) I was embarrassed by the Fridays signature birthday sung. And we ate all of the special sundae.

Had some bad news interspersed with the celebrations that put something of a damper of the festivities. I will write more about that later. Found out that The Who are coming to Salt Lake, so I will go see them and celebrate my birthday again in November.

He created an owl for me as well. I will get a picture and post it in the next days as well.

I turned 43 on Monday and the celebrations were made more solemn this year with the passing of my Grandmother. She died last Saturday and the funeral was yesterday.

Good Times, Bad Times. I did get to see my brother for a couple of days and got some time off. It is good to be back to work but hard, too.

Canadian CD Storage Solution!!!

Here it is. The first CD storage unit installed on my wall in my basement. As you may know, our basement flodded last Spring and some of my discs got ruined. This should keep everything safe and dry unless the next flood has biblical proportions.
