still kicking....

I have not dropped off the face of the earth but it feels like it some days.

Things have been so hectic and busy at the branch. I am having trouble getting anything accomplished at work and at home--though the home project seems to be nearing completion. It has been a lot like the Tom Hanks movie, the Money Pit. The 3 week refurbish project is going into the third month and we keep getting told "just 2 more weeks."

On a more positve note, we will be heading to Portland, Oregon for much neede rest and rejuvenation. We will leave Saturday and plan to be gone for just over a week. Don't worry, we have someone trustworthy scheduled to come check the house every day. So we should not come home to water in the basement again. I did have a leaking sprinkler that got the new carpet in the basement wet. That was fun and exciting.
